Complete the prime factorization of 24.

This interactive tool is designed to help explain and understand the prime factorization by division method.

Instructions:

  1. Divide the number by the smallest prime number which divides the number exactly.
  2. Divide the quotient again by the smallest or the next smallest prime number if it is not exactly divisible by the smallest prime number. Repeat the process again and again till the quotient becomes 1.
  3. Multiply all the prime factors and the product is the number itself.
