Concept
A number used to describe the center of a set of data is a measure of central tendency. The most common of these measures is the mean. Two other standard measures of central tendency are median and mode. The mode is the number that appears most often in a set of numbers.
Rule
To find the mode, arrange the numbers in order. Then count how many there are of each number. A number that appears most often is the mode.
Example
Find the mode.
Drag to put these numbers in order from the least to the greatest. Find the mode and write your answer.
