Concept
- Place value is the position of a digit in a number. It determines the value that the number holds. Each place has a value of 10 times the place to its right.
- The decimal point is a dot between digits in a number.
- Values to the left of the decimal point are greater than one.
- Values to the right of the decimal point are less than one.
