Multiplication Table

Multiplication Table

Concept

A multiplication table is a list of multiples of a number. We can obtain the multiplication table by multiplying the given number with whole numbers. Multiplication is one of the main mathematical operations which is taught to students at an early age. A simple approach to teaching students the concept of multiplication is through a multiplication table chart.

Usually, one set of numbers is written on the left column and another set is written on the top-most row. Having a multiplication chart saves a considerable amount of time and energy in doing calculations.
