Vocabulary
Scientific notation - When a number is written as the product of a factor and an integer power of 10. The factor must be greater than or equal to 1 and less than 10.
Exponential notation – A way of representing repeated multiplications of the same number by writing the number as a base with the number of repeats written as a small number to its upper right.
Standard notation - is the normal way of writing numbers.

Convert standard form to exponential form.
Rules
In order to write a number as a power of ten follow the steps below:
- Determine the place value of the last number in the decimal.
- Divide number by that value.
- Write the place value as a power of ten.
- Bring the power to the numerator.
